Looking good, our favorite Arkloom!

We all said a little something about dad, it was really special. There are so many great stories I couldn't narrow them down, so I wrote him a little 60th poem.
Poem to Mark @ 60

Marky, Mark… Turning the big 6 0
It’s so crazy to watch… our little chopper GROW.

From the time I was young, you always worked real HARD,
Whether it was at work, or shooting the birds out of the cherry trees in the YARD.

Pretty smart popping out seven kids for your own little… sweat SHOP.
It would definitely be cost effective and help you rise to the TOP.

You put me to work at the age of EIGHT,
All day cotton candy I would MAKE.

At the age of 12, the slides I MANAGED,
$3.75 an hour, I AVERAVGED?

When mom was sick, the blue jumpsuit would come OUT,
You’d wake me up with the horrible song “RISE AND SHOUT”

When you cooked… Egg pies and roast beef deli slices, we would EAT,
You always said it was like a Christmas FEAST.

You have the magic touch, everything you touch… turns into GOLD.
Weather it’s a business, a faucet or something that needs to be SOLD.

When our cars were broken, you would drive them… and they would be FINE.
It was the operators, that was the problem… you would tell us every TIME.

If Boyfriends or Girlfriends were over, vacuuming at 11:00pm is the NORM,
Flashing the outside lights on and off if he thought the hot tub, was getting too WARM.

You were always the fun seeker, and keep us close with fun family TRIPS,
I still remember the time you were suppose to be filming me on vacation, instead of the girl in the pools TITS.

The master of made up words and NICKNAMES,
I VERLIY found out a new word, Oh.daris… with you playing GAMES.

If you lose your mind you’ll still have your amazing muscular PHYSIC,
And if you don’t know what to wear, you can wear your red sweater all WEEK.

If you’re worried about losing your hair… it’s already GONE,
Don’t worry Chad’s catching up… it won’t be LONG.

We can trade in your porche for a new RIDE,
The cool sporty ones, on the side walk, that you.. can DRIVE.

To your new cabin you can go and TINKER,
Don’t run over anyone; remember the green machine doesn’t have BLINKERS.

I know when you think of 60…. you think of GLOOM AND DOOM
But to us you will always be our favorite ark loom.
